This Negroamaro del Salento is the result of a selection of carefully hand-picked grapes vinified at a controlled temperature, pressing must at the end of the fermentation process. It ages for six months in steel and three months in glass before being released onto the market. A sincere wine, that clearly represents the grape variety and prompts the words: That’s a great wine! Ruby red coloured wine with
garnet highlights, characterised by a persistent scent of blackcurrants, accompanied by the spicy aromas typical of Mediterranean vegetation. The palate is full, smooth and medium-bodied, characterised by a nice crispness and savoury flavour. Average persistence. Ideal with all courses of a meal featuring meat and vegetables. Excellent with pasta served with aubergines.
