CHARDONNAY | FIANO
PROTECTED GEOGRAPHIC INDICATION
A wine obtained from a combination of the international grape Chardonnay (70%) with traditional Fiano Salentino (30%), trained using the espalier method and vinified together in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The skins spend one night only in contact with the must and then undergo soft pressing to preserve the scents and
structure. The wine has a deep straw yellow colour and a silky-smooth palate, with notes of apple and pineapple, and scents of roast almonds in the finish. Versatile and fragrant, it can accompany a summer meal featuring vegetables, fish and shellfish; also excellent with seafood risottos, cod and white meats typical of the local cuisine.
